We all have a choice

Ok, 2020 was not exactly a walk in the park. For anyone. I don’t have to remind you what happened because you went through it yourself, and you won’t forget it. And it is still going on - we are in toughest winter of the last 60 years. And yet, all these tumultuous events are, in a way, affording us an opportunity. The once in a lifetime kind of opportunity: I will call it ‘the opening of the eyes’. Yes, many of us saw with our own eyes the dark side of the world we have created: global health crisis, abhorrent discrimination, social inequalities, economic downturns, unemployment, climate change emergencies, and even an assault to the Capitol, just to mention a few.

So now that we have seen the ugly, we have a choice. We can resign and succumb to it, and that is the easy choice. Or we can turn it on its head and create a better, inclusive, sustainable future, a future where we help and support each other rather than tearing each other down! And that is the fulfilling, meaningful, truly human choice - it is the choice where everyone wins.

And it is exactly in this context that I decided to set up Shella Consultancy. So you know what my choice has been. And it does feel the right choice, from Day 1.
